bodysuit, vest, jeans

A few months ago this trend of wearing bodysuits came about. To me, I thought it was crazy and weird to say the least. I wasn’t about to wear a onesie and feel like a baby all day. I honestly thought it was one of those “in and out” phases.. but I was so wrong. So after months of vetoing these crazy but stylish bodysuits I decided to try one out myself. And let me just tell ya, man was I wrong about these bad boys. I wish someone would have forced me to buy them months ago and wear them!

I ordered this heather grey, scoop back, long sleeve body suit from Aerie and it was on sale, of course I had too! I wanted to be able to wear something over it since i am not a huge fan of tight shirts. I paired it with a black leather vest, some jeans and a pair of booties. I loved my look! But it wasn’t an experience I have had before, I had no idea how to wear this thing.

First Thoughts

Not gonna lie, I was super confused with how to even go about wearing my bodysuit. The button's were very intimidating if you know what I mean. Also sorry to my grandparents if you are reading this but the back of it was similar to a thong. I know, weird. So umm, now what am I suppose to do!? Do I wear full coverage underwear? Do I wear a thong as well? Or do I just go commando.. Remember those buttons.. Yeah, I'd rather not go commando. Also, do I go braless and bandaid the nips? AHHHHH, so many questions!

What I went with..

So after about 30 minutes of standing in the bathroom deciding how to wear this thing I decided to go ahead and wear a thong and bandaid the nips. After about a hour of double thongs I had to rethink my decision. I felt like I had a MAJOR EXTREME wedgie. I went with no underwear for the rest of the day and that was the best decision I have ever made.

How I Felt..

To be honest, at first I was very uncomfortable being in public wearing the bodysuit. Like I said, I don't like tight shirts by themselves on me. On top of it being tight, it was just a new style for me. It was like I had no clothes on. Oh wait.. I didn't haha.

Final thoughts..

I NEED MORE!!! Like for reals.. All that is going to be on my Christmas Wish List.. bodysuits. I could probably wear one everyday honestly. And surprisingly my boyfriend thought it was really cute so that was good (I have like 3 outfits that he likes oops). He normally doesn't like new trendy clothes and I was certain the leather vest would be a no go for him. But he said he really liked the way it looked together, so that is always a plus! He also preceded to ask everyone we were around if they knew what I was wearing.. He had never heard of them before, so he made it a priority to tell all of our friends that my shirt buttoned on the bottom. lolz. I would recommend everyone wearing one at least once. If anything, wear it for the simple laugh at how funny it is trying to decide how to actually wear it. I do not think this is an extreme wedgie contraption, I just would not recommend wearing underwear with it. The double wedgie was a no go.
