15 weird, random, things to know about me

So the other day in the salon I was talking with Josie, the person that is the exact same as me, but a few years older.. The one girl that you say "no way, I use to do that too! We are like the same." She blogs too, Joys of Josie, she is my inspiration. My girl. Anyways, I was talking with Josie about blog post ideas.. the usual convo.. and I said "we should totally do this one.. 10 things you probably don't know about me" and somehow that turned into us rambling off all the weird things we do .

Apparently we are both pretty freaking weird. We came up with at least 15 things and I am sure there are more.

Sit back, read, and enjoy these weird, random, crazy things about me that you probably had no idea I did or have done before.

1. I HATE stand up comedy / dumb comedy

Yes, that means I have never watched Step Brothers, I don't like Larry the Cable Guy.. All the people and movies you think of when you think of that c word, I probably have no idea who or what they are. Now, I have a few exceptions. I love Talladega Nights, The Elf, Joe Dirt. But that is about it. That doesn't mean I don't like funny movies, because I do. I like movies that are truly funny. The ones that make you laugh because they were just being themselves.

2. Snakes, Worms, Lizards.

Anything that looks like snakes or moves like snakes or are related to the snake family.. I am terrified of. No questions, to me, they are all related to the snake family. No thank you.

3. Crinkled Paper

You know when you look at something and it is all nice and crisp, laying there ever so perfect? A fresh new, clean piece of paper.. Yeah I want to just go and wrinkle it all up. I love when you can tell paper has been used. Like a notebook. The first half is all worn, used and crinkled and the second half is untouched.. I choose the first half.

4. Snails

So when I was a kid me and my best friend Adrianne use to go under her deck and collect snails. Back then, there was a little segment on Disney Channel that showed kids and their collections.. ya know, post cards, snow globes, stamps.. Well we wanted to be on there for our snail collection. Don't ask why.

5. I don't sleep with a pillow

Well I do, but a pillow pet. I have like 5 of them. They are great. I have slept with the same one since 8th grade, it's my fav. When I moved away to college I took Berry with me because I can't use pillows. I did however bring real pillows with me because I am a 19 year old college student that still sleeps with my Berry. In my defense, pillows are too thick and hurt my neck. I like flat pillows.

6. I only wash my hair 2 days a week

I have blonde porous hair. I am lazy. I love dry shampoo. I use my hair on Monday so its clean through the week. I will condition my hair but never shampoo during the week. And then normally Friday I will wash my hair. Unless I have something going on and want clean hair, then it might get washed.

7. Straws

I love straws.

8. Tags stay on

So I find this so funny. When you buy new clothes and you wear them you usually always take the tags off.. Well.. I can't say the same. It started a few months ago, I was just lazy and didn't feel like taking them off. And sometimes I will wear something new and leave them on in case I don't like it I can still take it back. Somehow, I have gotten kinda obsessed with leaving the tags on. Call me weird. I will eventually take them off, but I gotta wear them a few times first. No shame.

9. No I don't tan

that is my response to someone when they comment on how white I am or how I have never been in a tanning bed.. I for real cannot tan. My freckles get darker, my skin gets redder.. It just never works.

10. Big Dreams

One of my biggest dreams / goals is to travel to all 48 continental states. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see all 50 and the rest of the word but is more of a dream. My goal.. Well I will just stick to the 48.

11. I am an online window shopper

I will shop online, put hundreds of stuff in my cart and wait. For how long you ask? Well long enough for items to go out of stock, or sales to ends, and ruling out like items. Then I will let them sit in my bag for a little while longer. Whatever I left after that is destined and I will buy it.

12. Cross my legs

Most so called normal people sit with their feet touching the ground when they go to a. restaurant. Me on the other hand, not normal. I take my shoes off if I am wearing sandals or slip on's and cross my legs in the seat. Ask my boyfriend, he thinks it is really weird. I call it comfy.

13. I hate plans

If I have any kind of timeline, too much structure, or rules to follow.. I probably will try to get myself uninvolved. I think if I work at a "9-5 office job" I would get fired. I just hate not doing things whenI want and how I want to do them. Count me out please.

14. Teeth kinda girl

The first time I meet you or any time really.. If you wonder where my eyes are looking its at your teeth. I have no idea why, but I have to look at peoples teeth. I blame it on years of braces and messed up teeth of my own until my braces worked some magic.

15. Fingers and Toes

Another weird thing I do.. When I see a. baby for the first time they are toothless so where do my eyes go? To their fingers and toes. I HAVE to count them to make sure there are 10 of each. If they are covered, I find a way to make sure there is the correct number there.

So.. if you ask my boyfriend he will tell you I am the weirdest person he knows. I think it's just me. But I can do some pretty weird things.
