My Go-To Summer Shorts

Do you ever look back at a recent purchase and thank yourself for it? Because I have.  Thank you Natalie, you are seriously the best. I have always had my eye on a pair of Levi Jeans but never can bring myself to buy them. So a couple weeks ago I was at T.J.Maxx and found a few pair of Levi shorts. I looked at the shorts a few times, walked away, came back, looked at the size chart.. The usual Natalie move when looking at clothes..  Right when I was about ready to head to the check out line I made a straight b-line for my shorts.  Turns out they fit (win for me) and I fell in love.  I was about ready to buy my first pair of Levi jean shorts for less than half the price! And when I mean for less than half priced, I mean like $15. A big thank you goes to the Maxx, my real life saver. My Go-To Summer Shorts

So let me tell ya about something.. I am girl that doesn't like to change her brand if jeans much. I am pretty faithful to my one store. But a girls gotta try something new every now and then. My new Levi Jean Shorts are “wedgie” fit. I’ve never had an article of clothing that screamed WEDGIE more then my bodysuit I bought back in the fall until these shorts. Yep. They make me look like I have an extreme wedgie, but after the first day of wearing them I’m use to it. These shorts have in fact became a staple in my summer outfits. They are my go-to shorts and I’m not complaining. And here is why.. Comfort

Okay, so this is kinda a big deal. Sometimes high wasted shorts/jeans that have no stretch can kinda hurt after a full day of wearing them. But they way these shorts fit, and with no stretch at all, I sometimes wonder if I can sleep in them. Perfect Wash of Denim

I am a girl who loves a more dark wash jean short.. I blame that to being super white and dark colors tend to make me look less pale-ish. But these shorts are for sure a medium wash maybe even lighter.. but they seriously go with everything and make me feel not as ghostly. Many Ways to Style

If I could have one word to describe me I would choose weird. Not weird in a bad way, but just saying a little more different. I think it fits my style as well. I am all about current trends and dressing in the new but I also like to keep my clothes “me”. I feel very uncomfortable in clothes that I don’t feel like fit my style. But with that being said, I sometimes feel like I can have 2 different styles. The more casual look with a twist of “weird or different” and the more dressed up with the same added qualities. These shorts allow me to show off both sides of me. Having a few different ways to style my fav shorts is a bonus! My favorite way to wear these shorts is for sure the casual way. A simple tank, shorts, and either make my shoes the most noticeable Accessory or add a hat and sometimes even a jean jacket. For this blog post it was shoes and a hat. I was feeling extra “weird” apparently lolz. But you get the point. If you have never owned a pair of Levi shorts/jeans go buy a pair and fall in love!!  I'm still dying. Tatum is a competitive dancer so she knows all about that sassy posing. I told her she could pick exactly how I was going to stand, and let me tell ya.. This pose wanted me to find my once dancer self. I will never forget this, I hope everyone looking at this picture appreciates Tatum's effort to tell me how to stand lolz.
