reconnecting with the girls

So first let me tell ya, we aren’t like most girls. There are four of us.. Adrianne, Allie, Katie, and myself. Each of us are very different but very similar and somehow ever the years we have just clicked. I’ve been friends with Adrianne since birth, no joke. Then me and Adrianne started to get really close with Katie my sophomore year of high school. Adrianne and Allie were always kinda friends, and somehow she just came along and it all worked out great. Since the semester started, all 3 of them go to IUPUI and then there was me that went away and wanted to be different lolz. So the other night was the first night we all were at the same place at the same time since summer and it was great! 

Normally you'd think if you haven't seen your best friends in awhile there would be something fun planned.. Well, like I said, we aren't like most. And it was Allie's birthday so that def calls for a fun girls night on a Monday, everything leading to a "good night with the girls" Lemme just tell ya how our reconnecting night went.

Someone sent a text in the gm and said, "can we hang out later tonight" of course we all say yes and then go about planning our night. Hallmark movies, snugs on the couch, and sharing one party pizza between 4 girls. Thats how it was planned to go.. Buuuut it went more like..

Get to Allie's house, never turn on Hallmark, never even brought the party pizza, and no snugs on the couch. And more like look at old horrible screenshots and videos we have of each other for hours, talk about random tweets we have seen in the past few weeks, and some other random stories from our semester at school. And then the best part, this what I mean when I say we aren't like most girls. We decided to take pics in front of the fireplace. We had all intentions of them being cute to start out. But lets be honest here, we are some of the most awkward girls you could meet. We even looked at pinterest to get "cute Christmas friend pic" ideas.. It turned into something completely different. We somehow went from trying to take semi cute pics to advertising for Corona, all things hunting, and yeah.. 

I know, you wanna see those pics right? No worries, they will come. So when I mean we were advertising, we really weren't. We just decided to add them to our pictures because every good picture needs a few good props. Or in our case, a few good pictures for lots of laughs. 

Our night was a typical random night for the 4 of us and that's why they are my best friends. They are my friends that make me feel like I am a kid again and there is no judgement. I can act weird and have unbrushed hair and lazy clothes on and I know at least one of them will be doing the same. We are like that Zac Brown Band song, Homegrown. "I got some good friends that live down the street"
