5 reasons i am ready to say goodbye to winter and hello to summer

Ever heard of the saying "seasonal depression" well yeah, it's a real thing boys and girls. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, the first snow, and the cold for like a day and a half.. But there is something about summer that makes me all happy and warm inside and let me tell ya, winter does not do that to me.

So here is why winter needs to go back home and summer can come on out.

Sun-kissed.. Freckles.

Tan? Nope, my momma and dadda didn't bless me with tan skin. But I got enough freckles to go around. Like me, my freckles go into winter depression as well. As I have gotten older I have realized how lucky I am to have those cute little tan dots on my face, shoulders, and arms. I miss them, and want them back.

Free Toes.

C'mon now, free toes are the best toes! I live in sandals the minute it starts to warm up until the last possible day. Just thinking about wearing my birks or chacos all day makes me wanna scream!

Summa Hair.

I have been kinda dark for a few months and I am ready to get my blonde hair back. Blonde hair equals summer, right? And my hair does great with a little fresh air, some texture spray, and some sweat here and there. If ya got the natural curls, embrace them bayba. I do anyways.

Concerts.

I live for the nights spent at the local outdoor concert venue. I am all about singing at the top of my lungs with my best friend by my side dancing all crazy. And the atmosphere an outdoor concert brings is unimaginable.

Backroading and Bonfires

Do I even need to explain myself? The best summer nights are spent backroading and around a bonfire.

I have about 100 other reasons why I am ready for it to warm up, but I'll leave it as that. If you are a winter lovin' snow playin' seasonal depressed lover, then you can just leave and bring my summer back!
